Bonnie Dunn has been performing her cabaret and burlesque act for over a decadent decade. She is the producer and featured performer of the wildly popular New York City burlesque show, Le Scandal Cabaret now in it's eight year at The Cutting Room, NYC.
As a teenager growing up in New Orleans, she developed her burlesque and cabaret persona, watching and performing in New Orleans’ famous French Quarter. Bonnie has performed as an individual act as well as producing a full variety show nationally as well as internationally in such exotic places as Bangkok, Copenhagen, Cyprus, Rome and Greece.
Since arriving in NYC in 1987, Bonnie has produced shows on the famous Theater Row, NYC, Off Broadway, and NYC’s hip downtown performance art scene. |

She has produced/performed in shows in New Orleans, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New Jersey, San Francisco, LA and Vegas.
Bonnie Dunn has been featured on the History Channel's “Wild West Tech-Vice” as “the expert on American burlesque”. WE network “To Live and Date in New York”, Metro TV, “NY Central”, “Naked NY”, and Metro's Gothan TV, HBO's Real Sex #25, and an MTV show titled “Game Killers”. More recently Le Scandal was filmed for UK Production Company ‘Electric Sky Productions’ as part of the “I’ll Try Anything Once” series for broadcast in the USA, UK and worldwide. Bonnie was featured heavily in the show as the Presenter’s mentor and expert in her field. She has also appeared in several films and commercials. She is a featured singer on a Steve Allen song compilation, singing his original song, “Until I Left Chicago”, and has worked with New Orleans’ famed Allen Toussaint. The New York Times has called her, “a sassy singer, with a smoldering voice”. Italian Vogue christened her, “the Godmother of Burlesque” and her show, Le Scandal, was called “the Rock Star of the burlesque scene”, by NY Magazine. |
